"This is going to be done very much on a need-to-know basis with only the board members aware of when and where the meeting will take place.
"They want to minimise the possibility of details leaking out so that there will be no danger of fans picketing the meeting or issuing further threats of violence.
"Everyone has agreed to drop everything and get together immediately if club chairman Sir Roy Gardner decides to call a snap meeting."
